GES Annual Outing 2025
In envisioning an ideal society, we can imagine a place where every individual has equal access to healthy living regardless of their economic background or circumstances which is not possible without being properly educated in every sense. So our ancestors thought back in 1944 and to achieve this they pressed into action prioritising formal education in primary and vocational & technical education secondarily and Gandhabanik Education Society unearthed. Education is not just about academic knowledge but also about fostering personal growth, critical thinking skills, empathy, and creativity.
GANDHABANIK EDUCATION SOCIETY (GES) has the VISION to develop students of Gandhabanik community who are actively engaged or eager to get engaged in their learning, encouraged to ask questions, think critically, and pursue their interests. These students are supported by our Society in developing a growth mind set, resilience, and a love for learning that extends beyond the classroom.
GANDHABANIK EDUCATION SOCIETY also has the VISION to include parents and communities as active partner in the system of learning, working collaboratively with educators and learners to create a supportive environment for children to thrive. There is a strong emphasis on equity, inclusivity, and diversity, ensuring that all voices are heard and valued.
In this GANDHABANIK EDUCATION SOCIETY, lifelong learning is embraced as a fundamental value, and individuals are empowered to continuously grow, adapt, and contribute positively to the world around them. Ultimately, the vision is to create a society where education in all senses is a transformative force that nurtures individuals to reach their full potential and create a better society for all.
TARAPADA PAUL MEMORIAL LECTURE 2025
The Second Tarapada Paul Memorial Lecture was jointly organized by the Gandhabanik Education Society and Goenka College of Commerce and Business Administration (GCCBA), Kolkata, on 30th January 2025, at the college’s Seminar Hall. The event was presided over by the Principal of GCCBA, Dr. Abhijit Dutta, who generously provided the venue and ensured all necessary arrangements for the smooth conduct of the program.
The keynote speaker for the event was the eminent actor and academician, Sri SubhrajitDutta, who delivered a captivating lecture on the theme ‘When Passion Meets Profession.’ His presentation was both lucid and engaging, weaving together insightful commentary with live demonstrations and interactive enactments that directly involved the audience. The energy in the hall, filled with more than a hundred people, was palpable, as students and attendees were visibly inspired and motivated by his dynamic approach and heartfelt message.
